Reseller Program #1: Affiliate Program


Overview:
A company wishing to become a member of the MerchantAdvantage Channel Management Affiliate program can simply fill out our Reseller profile form, and incorporate links and such into their website or other marketing efforts which, send prospects to the MerchantAdvantage website or call centers. At that point, the prospect is to be closed either by the website itself or by a MerchantAdvantage representative. Ownership of the client is MerchantAdvantage’s, and the Affiliate’s job is done. Commissions are paid monthly based on a tiered structure.

Reseller Program #2: VAR Program

Overview:
The Value Added Reseller track is for partners that wish to provide the MerchantAdvantage Channel Management solution to their clients in conjunction with existing products and/or services. Those on the VAR track will sign up for MerchantAdvantage Channel Management on behalf of a client at a discounted rate. MerchantAdvantage will bill and provide support to the VAR, who will then provide support and various products and services to their client. In this model, MerchantAdvantage Channel Management becomes one of the tools the VAR uses in service to their clients to increase the VAR’s service offerings to that client. The VAR may opt to allow the client to use the application directly, in addition to the consultant, or not.


Credentials:
To become an authorized MerchantAdvantage Value Added Reseller, a company must successfully complete training and testing to obtain their certification. Training consists of four, 1 hour long webinars on MerchantAdvantage product(s). Testing will be administered via an online questionnaire. Certifications will be granted to corporate entities, with specific support being provided to the individual(s) who take, and successfully pass the test. The approval process takes place within five business days. Upon approval, the VAR will be notified via e-mail with their unique user name and password to use when logging in and accessing approved marketing materials.


VAR Benefits :
Authorized VAR’s will enjoy the following MerchantAdvantage benefits:

  • Discounted pricing on current and future MerchantAdvantage product offerings
  • Discounted pricing on additional Channel Management databases
  • Training on existing and future product offerings and upgrades

  • Unlimited application installs
  • Unlimited client storefronts
  • Priority customer support. VAR’s will have an assigned customer support specialist within MerchantAdvantage who will provide priority assistance to the designated individual(s) that has been certified from each VAR. Live phone support is provided throughout the life of the contract.
  • Expanded Market Exposure
    • Website – VAR’s will receive prominent placement on the appropriate page(s) of the MerchantAdvantage website (main website targeting merchants http://www.merchantadvantage.com/partners) with a link to a URL as specified by the partner. The partner should provide a one to two paragraph description of their product(s) or service(s) as well as a logo to be placed on the partner page(s).
    • Webinars – VAR’s will be invited to participate in MerchantAdvantage’s weekly webinars. Participation would include conducting a scheduled segment that would be conducive to the week’s selected topic.
    • Newsletters – VAR’s would be regularly featured throughout the year in the MerchantAdvantage monthly newsletter, eTail dTail, by submitting topic related articles.


Sales and Marketing:
MerchantAdvantage reserves the right to offer and/or approve any advertisements which include reference to the MerchantAdvantage line of products and services. MerchantAdvantage will provide standard marketing materials for the VAR to re-produce which will be made available through the MerchantAdvantage website.



Commitment:
VAR’s operate under a quarterly contract, payable on a monthly basis.

Reseller Program #3: Reseller-Partner Program

Overview:
The reseller track is for partners that wish to introduce the MerchantAdvantage Channel Management solution to their clients. Those on the reseller track will sign up a client, receive a commission based on the current reseller commission structure, and rely upon MerchantAdvantage to provide all future support directly to the client. This simple, yet scalable model allows the reseller to focus on their core competencies while increasing their revenues, and therefore, the value of each client.


Credentials:
MerchantAdvantage resellers sign up by completing an this application. The approval process is completed within 5 business days. Upon approval, the reseller will be notified via e-mail, which will contain their unique user name and password to use when logging in and accessing approved marketing materials.


Sales and Marketing:
MerchantAdvantage reserves the right to offer and/or approve any advertisements which include reference to the MerchantAdvantage line of products and services. MerchantAdvantage will provide standard marketing materials for the reseller to re-produce which will be made available through the MerchantAdvantage website.
MerchantAdvantage will place resellers on the appropriate page(s) of the website (main website targeting merchants – http://www.merchantadvantage.com/partners) with a link to a URL as specified by the partner. The partner should provide a one to two paragraph description of their product(s) or service(s) as well as a logo to be placed on the partner page(s).


Technical Support:
Resellers will be given a web address and/or API which is to be used to signup merchants. In order to be given credit for a signup, the reseller must successfully use one of these two interfaces provided by MerchantAdvantage. Technical support in enabling either of these two options is available to the reseller from the MerchantAdvantage technical support team.
All technical support services relating to the use of the application will be provided by MerchantAdvantage, directly to the merchant. The merchant will be given the appropriate technical support information via email during the initial signup process.
